Here you go... a practical look at how to start global education at your school. On this page, I will walk you through how to put global education into action with basic, practical suggestions and ideas.
With implementing Global Education, you need to start somewhere. That somewhere should be a group of like-minded, global teachers and administrators who are committed to bringing global perspectives to their students. With a dedicated global team, you can chart your own course towards global programming at your school.

Here is something that might help get things started. It is called the PRIME STAGE. Use this prime stage to start your school's global implementation process.
PRIME STAGE -for implementing Global Education
P – PLC Use the professional learning communities to discuss/share pedagogy, content, and curricular ideas.
R – Research/Investigate globally-focused content to implement into lessons.
I – Implement global lesson plans/activities.
M – Monitor/Measure progress of lesson – self/student input/feedback, reevaluation with PLC, admin support.
E – Educate students, colleagues, administrators about how you are bringing a global perspective to lessons.

T - Technology Use - Do students have adequate technology to collaborate?
A - Authentic Work- Are students being asked to do something adults do in the “real world?”
